|
- As
a generic scoring program,
SCORES-IT-ALL has the potential to automate the scoring of most
multiple-choice or true-false tests. However, before it can be used to
score a given test, it must be set-up to do so. This set-up process does
not require any knowledge of computer programming. It does, however,
require that you know the scoring rules for the test (e.g., which items
contribute to each scale of the test).
|
- The
program will take you, step-by-step, through a series of questions where
you are prompted to provide the specific information (e.g., the number of
items on the test). The time required for the set-up process depends upon
the length and the complexity of the test. Short tests, with a few simple
scales, can usually be set up in less than an hour. Longer tests, with many
scales, will naturally take longer to set-up. Remember, you must go through
the set-up process only one time for each test, after which the program
will be ready to score that test again and again, with never a per-use
charge. SCORES-IT-ALL is sufficiently flexible so that even complicated
scoring procedures (e.g., adding two scales together to form a third scale)
can be accommodated. There is no limit to the number of tests that can be
set-up and scored using the program.
